In his time he has amassed over 40,000 nautical miles on the waves worldwide in varied waters and climates such as New Zealand, Australia, the Tasmanian Sea, the USA, the Caribbean Sea, the Atlantic Ocean, and the North and Baltic Seas. He is the Meteorological Advisor for the America's Cup (United Internet Team Germany). He also works for Ellen MacArthur (Route du Rhum, Jules Vernes Trophy, solo world record), various Olympic sailing teams (Korea, Sydney, Athens, Quingdao in preparation), and, for the past several years, an array of international and national regatta teams in various world and European championships in dinghy and big boat classes.
